Who Is Ravenswood Youth Soccer Club?

Ravenswood Youth Soccer Club (RYSC) is a competitive soccer club in the Bay Area. RYSC gives advanced skilled players an opportunity to compete at the highest level of youth soccer in the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA).

The goal of RYSC is to give the youth of E. Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park, the same opportunities of youth playing in neighboring soccer clubs, by keeping participation more affordable. Players do not have to reside in these cities to participate on our teams, however, the majority of players are residents of the Ravenswood community.

Small and Outstanding

The Ravenswood Soccer Club started in 1999 out of necessity. President and Founder, Israel Navarrete, formed the club for the teams that had outgrown the local AYSO league’s competition. The club has always been a small club, not having more than a dozen teams at a time, but the teams have always made the club outstanding. The club serves a small, soccer loving  community where young children are usually born with the love and passion for the sport.

RYSC operates with the guidance of a Board of Directors. The role of the Executive Board of Ravenswood Youth Soccer Club is to make every  effort to provide opportunities to hundreds of deserving youth.
